YOUR WORDS

Your words stay yours.

In this hour you write down things you tell almost no one.

That is why the experience opens only once you alone can read them.

What happens to your words

This is the required architecture for the version that may open. The whole route, in one picture.

YOU WRITE: "I never forgot the way you looked at me." WHAT THE SERVER RECEIVES: k9Rq2·fXw7·Lm4T·oVe1·pZs8·bNc3·qHj6·xGd5·yWe0

The key stays with youEvery field is optional: you decide what you write. The experience remains closed until only ciphertext travels to the server and an independent audit has confirmed that it is unreadable without your key.

After your hour, you choose

Download and delete

Your document is created on your own device. Then I erase the encrypted copy.

Do nothing

Then I erase the encrypted copy after 30 days, with a warning first.

What you can count on

Encrypted before storage

Before opening, your browser must encrypt your answers and letters before anything leaves. Only the encrypted version may be stored.

The key stays with you

The experience opens only once the key sits with you alone. That is the whole condition.

You choose what remains

Download your words and I erase the encrypted copy. If you choose nothing, I erase it after 30 days. The yearly ritual remembers the date, never your words.

No model reads along

No model reads, scores, summarizes or answers what you write. A model only speaks your name inside your letters and moderates what you choose to publish.

About email

Your answers and letters never appear in an email. One link under every optional email switches it off.

Frequently asked questions

Can anyone at Last Hour Experience read my words?

The experience opens only after an independent security audit has confirmed that this is technically impossible. Until then, the door stays closed.

What happens if I make no choice?

You receive a warning on day 27. On day 30 I erase the encrypted copy automatically.

Are my answers or letters included in an email?

Never. An email contains at most a link and status information.

Can I erase everything sooner?

Yes. At any moment, from your account, with one button.

Technical details

The working copy in your browser is not encrypted at rest by Last Hour Experience: anyone with your unlocked phone or laptop could read along.

Finish the hour and that copy disappears from your device.

If you are signed in, a copy travels over an encrypted connection to the server and is stored there encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

You are notified when your words are ready, and you receive one warning on day 27 if you have not chosen yet.

Every other message can be switched off per type in Email preferences.

Your words never go to an advertising platform and are never used to train AI.

A Message for the World is separate from your private words: publishing requires its own choice, and it can always be removed later.

All terms and rights live in the privacy policy and the terms and conditions.

You should not have to take this on trust.

That is why the experience stays closed until the audit is complete and green.
